Exciting News!

Effective May 19, 2021, all remaining Covid-19 related business restrictions are lifted in CT, with certain exceptions related to indoor mask-wearing. Per Governor Lamont and the CT Department of Health, unvaccinated individuals should continue to wear masks indoors, and enforcement of this rule will be on the honor system and up to our guests to self-enforce.

The Candlewood Inn will not require vaccinated guests to wear masks indoors, and will not require masks for any guest outdoors.

For our clients, this means that you can now plan your wedding without restrictions related to Covid-19. We understand this is a transition, so please see the FAQ section of our website for helpful tips on planning a safe event.

We remain fully committed to safe operating practices and protecting the health and safety of our staff and our guests at all times. You can feel confident coming to Candlewood Inn knowing that we will follow all current State and CDC guidance, including:

• Continue leading in safe sanitation practices.
• Wear protective face masks.
• Monitor the health of all staff.
• Follow social distancing guidelines.
• Provide hand sanitizer is at all entrances.
• Clean and sanitize common areas and surfaces regularly.
• Clean and sanitize all tables and hard surfaces after every use.
